Chapter Title: After Hours & Untamed Hearts

The warm lights of the Rajvansh Mansion flickered gently against the night sky as Yuvraj parked the car. The clock on the dashboard blinked 9:47 PM. A long, tiring day at Pragna Hospitals had finally come to an end, but the real comfort awaited inside — home.

Yukti sat beside him, her dupatta slightly slipping off her shoulder, her eyes heavy with sleep.

Yuvraj glanced at her, “Kitten, we're home.”

She opened her eyes slowly, nodding, and they both stepped out. The cool breeze brushed against their faces — soothing, almost healing.

Dining Room — Rajvansh Mansion

The entire family was waiting. The table was laid out with comfort food: warm dal tadka, jeera rice, palak paneer, hot rotis, and a side of kheer — Manjri’s love served in bowls.

Yugant grinned, “Finally! Pragna ke power couple ne darshan diye.”

Yukti chuckled as she sat down, “Sorry! Duty ran late today.”

Manish smiled warmly, “Beta, we’re proud of you both. The hospital may get your time, but this house will always be your peace.”

Manjri placed a bowl of kheer in front of Yukti. “Meri bahu ke liye. Thoda meetha toh banta hai after that much stress.”

Yuvraj reached for the roti and placed it on Yukti’s plate before taking his own.

Lakshmi aunty had once told Yukti, “Pyaar sirf bade gestures se nahi, roti dene ke tareeke se bhi hota hai.” Tonight, she felt that.

Later That Night — Their Bedroom

Yukti's nightdress

The room smelled of lavender and sandalwood. Yukti stepped out of the bathroom, her damp hair wrapped in a towel, wearing a satin navy nightdress with a light robe.

Yuvraj, already in his black vest and joggers, was sitting on the bed, typing something on his phone.

Yukti sat beside him, resting her head on his shoulder.

“Exhausted?” he asked, softly brushing his fingers through her hair.

“Hmm. But I like this... ending the day with you.”

He put his phone aside, turned to her, his fingers gently lifting her chin. “You’ve changed everything, Kitten. Hospital ke stress ho, ya zindagi ka chaos... tum ho toh sab easy lagta hai.”

She blinked at him slowly, her breath quickening, heart pounding. “Yuvraj…”

And then it happened — raw, fierce, full of hunger and emotion.

Their lips crashed together — desperate, longing, like a silent promise made with fire.

Yuvraj’s hand wrapped around her waist, pulling her closer. Yukti’s fingers tangled in his hair, responding with equal passion. There was no hesitation. No shyness. Just them — breathing into each other, drowning in the intensity they had been holding back.

The world outside blurred.

The doctor duo, who had spent all day healing others, finally allowed themselves to feel completely — hearts racing, bodies melting into the quiet of the night.

As they pulled apart slightly, lips still brushing, Yuvraj whispered against her skin, “You’re mine, Mrs. Yuvraj Yukti Rajvansh.”

Yukti, breathless but smiling, replied, “Only yours, Dr. Rajvansh.”

To be continued…
